Weekly Dog Walks must be canceled before 5pm the night before and Vacation Reservations must be canceled with 48 hours notice to avoid being charged for 50% of trip.
* Please have TWO sets of keys tested and ready on the consultation.
One for the head sitter and one for a backup sitter*
**Please note that if keys are chosen to be left on the final visit the pet sitter
will have NO access into your home if any delays or setbacks occur upon
your arrival home.
*Extra Holiday charge will be applied to the following:
New Years Eve, New Years Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and 4th of July. Please book holidays ASAP as these days book quickly.

My name is Christina Caruso, founder and owner of What About the Pets, LLC.
Won BEST OF ESSEX 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018 , 2019, 2021, 2022 & 2023 in Pet Services!
I have a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Caldwell College and my cat-chelor’s degree from years of caring for my own felines as well as others’ furry loved ones.
My true passion in life is working with animals. With over 15 years experience working for others as a pet sitter and helping out friends and family with their pet-sitting needs, I felt the time was right to start my own company.
I am a member of Pet Sitters International (PSI), insured with Pet Sitters Associates LLC, Volunteer District Leader and Animal Rescue Team member with The Humane Society of the United States.
I am certified by the American Red Cross in Pet First Aid.
I currently reside in Montclair, NJ with my 3 cats (Winnie, Rusty, and Phoebe) who bring me immeasurable joy and companionship.
My goal is to provide the best care for your pets while you are away on vacation or business. My promise is that I will care for your pet just as I would care for my own. You can rest easy knowing that your pets and your home are being looked after by my caring, responsible and trustworthy pet sitting service.
